Saoge, which takes place in Dammam from November 25 to 27, remains an essential platform for key industry professionals, specialists and decision makers

As like previous editions, local and regional attendance is naturally high and continues to be mirrored by considerable international participation. Both regional and international companies recognise the huge potential that the Saudi oil and gas sector offers and are using the Saoge platform to introduce their products and services. Of those confirmed so far, 34 per cent are foreign with exhibitors coming from Australia, Belgium, China, Finland, Italy, France, Germany, India, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, the UK, the US.

The fifth Saudi Arabia International Oil & Gas Exhibition (Saoge 2013) will take place from November 25 to 27, 2013 at the Dhahran International Exhibitions Centre in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

As the exhibition has grown over the years and partnerships with local associations have developed, it has allowed IES – the organisers of Saoge – to take the opportunity to invest in the local community. With the support of Saudi Arabian Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (SAS-Aiche), IES has committed to assist students with funding.

As part of the partnership between Saoge and SAS-Aiche, a special fund has also been set up for the benefit of the students supporting the chapter, which will assist the students to participate in local, regional and international knowledge-share, and training seminars/symposia that will grow their technical awareness and networking with professionals and industries. This is the first year that this Student Fund has been offered and the plan is to make it the basis of ongoing support for a student who requires some financial support to complete his studies.

The IES team is extremely proud that Saoge maintains its position as the sole oil and gas exhibition in the Eastern Province, and continues to deliver an essential platform for key industry professionals, specialists and decision makers. Attendees travel from across the Gulf region and beyond Dammam where Saoge serves as the perfect platform to meet, network, learn and strengthen relationships.

Piero Zipoli, president of IES, comments: “We pay special attention to the Saudi Arabian International Oil and Gas Exhibition (Saoge) and regularly see great demand from multinational companies to participate and be at the heart of the industry. Saoge clearly offers them a platform for more insight into the possibilities for new investments, developments and technologies, aimed at the global petroleum sector”.

IES also represents the interests of many international exhibition organisers across its network at the major oil and gas exhibitions, and operates in over 30 countries.

The events represented include the premier event for the global oil and gas industry, the World Petroleum Congress. The IES team offers international expertise for companies wishing to expand current business interests in Saudi Arabia within the oil and gas sector.
